Interim Director of Finance

Eliot's remit ranges from processing of transactions, reporting financial results both internally and externally, supporting decision-making with financial analysis, setting and monitoring an appropriate financial control framework for Scope, monitoring financial risks, budgeting and forecasting and supporting the strategic development of Scope with strategic financial planning. 

Before Scope, Eliot has worked with a number of organisations as interim Finance Director, including Livability, Essex Cares Limited, Greenpeace and Merlin. He specialises in developing finance teams through transition and change particularly within the social care sector. As well as being a qualified accountant, Eliot has recently completed a masters in environmental studies. In his spare time, Eliot will be found cooking, eating, playing his viola or gardening (in a small village in Suffolk).

My job is to make sure that we make best use of our resources, and ensure that we create the funding streams to enable us to do that activities that we want to.
