Executive Director of Services

Carol is responsible for our services for disabled people and their families. Carol has a wealth of experience in local authorities. She has been a Director of Social Services, a Director of Adult Social Services and a Director of Children's Services. In her most recent role at Torbay, Carol's responsibilities included children's services, housing and partnership working with the voluntary and community sector. She was also Torbay Council's commissioner for adult social care.

Carol has held a senior role within the Department of Health, worked as an inspector of social services, been a member of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services' National Executive Committee and was co-lead of the Association's Learning Disability Policy Network. More recently, she has worked as an independent health and social care consultant.
