Amanda has experience of management at senior, public and private sector levels.

Most recently, she has been a Senior Civil Servant at the Department of Health, where she worked within the Policy and Strategy Directorate. Her role focussed on delivering Public Sector Agreement targets successfully, including leading and delivering a complex re-alignment of Cabinet Office and Departmental risk mitigation strategies for the Health Reform agendas of the Blair government.

Prior to her work in the public sector, Amanda has had high-level corporate experience both in the commercial and finance sector, working for companies such as Shell Chemicals and JP Morgan. In her role as Vice President at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Amanda was in charge of co-ordinating and implementing the IT work streams and also has experience of change management, business planning, performance and risk management, governance and support for strategic planning.
