Information Standard
In February 2011, Scope Information and Advice Services were accredited under the Department of Health’s Information Standard, which recognises trustworthy producers of health and social care information.
This means you can be assured that the information you receive from us has been produced through highly credible and accurate processes set out by The Information Standard.
We will be placing the above quality mark on our publications that have been put through the process so that you can be reassured that the content is accurate, trustworthy, up to date and referenced where appropriate.
Our editorial policy
Our aim is to provide high-quality, accessible information about cerebral palsy and living with disability.
Our information is written by experienced staff and specialists in conjunction with and reviewed by professionals, disabled people and their families.
We are extremely grateful to everyone involved in writing and producing our publications to ensure that they are accurate and easy to understand.
We update all the help and information section pages regularly to take account of any changes to evidence, treatment or guidelines.
We find your feedback extremely valuable, so if you would like to comment on any of our publications, please contact Scope Response.
You can read more about the accreditation on The Information Standard website.
