We offer all kinds of crucial support to disabled young people and their families in Widnes. This could be in the family home, or taking a trip to local amenities.

You could join our team to make a big difference to the quality of life to everyone using our service.

We are looking for committed, reliable workers with a passion for equal opportunities who can commit to some regular hours a week to support others. This is likely to take place in the early morning, after school hours or over the weekend, to provide support in the home or out in the local community, including personal, practical care and giving medication. We are preferably looking for drivers with access to their own transport.

Experience preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.

You will report to the team co-ordinator. This job involves working with customers meeting their needs and physical well-being. You may be involved in personal care and support including moving and handling in line with health and safety guidelines ensuring the service where you work is safe and clean. Having completed your induction, you will have responsibility for individual customers, being particularly concerned for the care and quality of services delivered, reflecting the individual’s needs and wishes, as identified in customer support plans.
