Media/IT Volunteer, Beaumont College, Lancaster

Main purpose of the role

The role will require your particular skill set within IT and Film Making techniques in order to photograph, film and edit required subject information.

A secondary role will to be to assist on the Technology Helpdesk with first line IT and Technology support requests from both students and staff.

Range of tasks to be carried out

• To liaise between the IT and the Education staff teams to deliver IT and Public Relations (PR) duties around given briefs.
• To undertake first line Technology support and elevate issues to other members of the technology team as needed.

Training required

Training and support will be provided following a skills audit. The successful candidate will receive additional appropriate training based on this audit. In terms of Technology Helpdesk support this will be achieved through work shadowing. Induction training will also be provided.
