Quality Manager, North
This is a temporary nine-month placement.
The key purpose of this role is to improve the quality of the services within the North region. You will do this by:
- Providing on site advice and if necessary training to services such as continence, end of life palliative care, tissue viability, infection control, epilepsy
- Establishing action learning sets for service managers and others to improve their competence, confidence and working practices
- Managing and creating reports from the information produced by our quality assurance systems and practices (such as peer visits, compliance tool, service audits)
- Identifying and building on current best practice and providing concise and up-to-date advice to area managers and service managers
- Undertaking regular monitoring of service performance to ensure consistency of application of quality assurance systems and processes
- Advising and assisting managers to make improvements and/or implement recovery action plans following the result of the service quality inspections
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience within health, education or social care service providers
- Knowledge of the applicable regulatory and legislative framework
- Evidence of utilising a continuous improvement process
- Understanding of quality assurance principles
- A professional qualification (desirable)
