We are looking for an experienced social care manager to help take the service forward on a journey that enables no limits to be set on each person’s potential to achieve their hopes and aspirations. You’ll manage and inspire the team at our service and help develop and grow our domiciliary care and support services.
And by developing all those around you, you’ll ensure that we’re able to continue providing high-quality, personalised care where it is needed most.
To do this you will need to have a relevant qualification that enables you to take up the role of CQC Registered Service Manager and be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to lead and develop your staff team. You will have substantial experience and skills in:
- working with disabled adults
- staff supervision and development
- managing budgets
- personalisation, support planning and risk assessing
You will also need to work flexibly, communicate effectively, and be able to negotiate and build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
In return, you can expect to be part of a strong and friendly team in the South East and to receive regular support and supervision with your line manager. As well as this, you will be supported to achieve your own personal development in line with your own Personal Development Plan.
Working locally in the service, you will also have the opportunity to develop a broader range of skills by working on projects to support the organisation.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager to take responsibility for driving positive change whilst developing a wider repertoire of skills and experiences within Social Care Management.
We are committed to equal opportunities and particularly welcome applications from disabled people. Successful applicants will be subject to Enhanced DBS check for regulated activity (previously Enhanced CRB check).
