Various hours for West Sussex Short Breaks.
We are looking for people in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Horsham areas who want job satisfaction and would like to make a difference to disabled people’s lives.
We have a number of positions supporting young disabled people (3 to 18 years) to engage in the community to learn new skills, have fun and enjoy new experiences. Our focus is to provide social support to people to enable them to live their lives as they choose.
Scope exists to bring about changes that will help create a society where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Previous experience in social care is beneficial but not essential, as we provide excellent training opportunities. We are looking for people with passion and enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Due to the locations, you will need to drive and have access to a vehicle (mileage paid).
Hours available are weekends, after school, evenings and additional hours are available in school holidays.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB) for regulated activity.
