Stage and screen

One of the most gratifying things about the success of The King's Speech is that it's succeeded with a central character who is a disabled person. One of the film's strengths is that you are placed in the disabled character's shoes, and that's what Scope is asking cinema and theatre chains to do - to help ensure that disabled people can enjoy films and plays with the same degree of comfort as everybody else.
