After finishing one position at NHS I gained another position at another NHS Trust starting soon, cutting travel time down a week, good for environment and bank balance it's temporary, but fingers crossed!

Some people use them because they're closer to the door/entrance so they can run in quickly to do whatever they have to, stopping a disabled person access, very rude and inconsiderate people!

Live a day in a disabled person's life, see what's it like! They are selfish ****** inconsiderate people.

I'm working on a temporary contract still for minimum wage, but it's putting myself out there showing I'm willing to work even for minimum wage!

I started work full time, started February after doing voluntary for a while, proving that the job is within my capabilities, enjoying it which is a positive point.

What people have commented when talking to them Reading articles nobody has really commented on them for what you say is correct, a lot of people think. Kudos and hope you find suitable employment soon (covering maternity leave at present, hope a permanent position will open up).

You are voicing what a lot of disabled go through gaining employment, People can be prejudiced.

The weather might have been a contributing factor to my redundancy!

For when the surface is icy in any way I become a prisoner in my own home. Employers accepted this for a while, then they couldn’t say much anyway. (I never took liberties.) They had to bide their time and that presented itself when a reorganisation occurred.

My theory is because I’m mobility challenged that might have been one factor which lead to my redundancy! Having to have my groceries delivered, relying on neighbours to get provisions for me. I like to be independent.
