  • Out of touch!

    Went to the hospital for an x-ray parked in what used to be the disabled parking bay. They have made it into a normal pay and display, making extra spaces by getting rid of wider places. I  found it absolutely diabolical they had got rid of the old markings which help wheelchair users and people who have mobility challenges all for sake of saving a few quid. If they looked internally they would be able to make savings without using the disabled as easy targets.

    The NHS is making life hard for the front line staff, with targets!

    The care element is disappearing to make way for targets. Regimental! It's lost it's personal touch.

  • Having to fund own travel on Open Door scheme

    Enjoyed my time at NHS/Council but could not afford to fund my travel. I find it scandalous that being on the "Open Door" scheme I have to fund own travel to and from work, the people that work there get travel allowance on top of their wage! UNFAIR. Move on - you cannot fight the system!

    Started volunteering at the NHS day centre for people with mental illness, helping others in society; meaningful work!

  • Guaranteed interviews

    Numerous times I have applied to large organisations such as the NHS and councils where they guarantee interviews, if you meet the criteria!

    Going on these interviews can and are mentally draining. My perception of the situation, after twelve interviews being rejected in the last twenty months, is it's soul destroying!

    • NHS application took time to fill out, rang to check process to be told job had been withdrawn, how the hell is the PM going to cope after he has cut back on services? The public are not going to believe a word he says!

    If there was any doubt job may not of come to fruition, then it should not of been advertised till whoever knows that the vacancy exists 100%! Twice this has happened to me, recently!

    • PM telling us to move and look for work, re-housing people. Many have a network of family and friends who you can rely on for different things, particularly being disabled!
