    I remember reading the above quote whilst working at Scope soon after graduating from university. It didn’t resonate immediately, but looking back I can see how both this quote and my time working at Scope had a big effect.

    You have read the blog, you have read the magazine, and you have attended the webinars! Now get ready for my new and amazing project – disability e-courses!!!

    I hope you now grasp the core objectives of my work from the past years. To explain my aims and spell out my vision, I would say that: I work to inform, inspire and change the world around disability issues, using personal experiences and online tools.

    As the clock ticks around to midnight on the 6th March 2012 in Aviles, Asturias I have been overcome with creative juices. That is the thing I love about travel and new places; it seems to open up your mind and makes you appreciate the finer things in life. It has been 3 days and 2 nights since I arrived, and already I have experienced so much!

    Whenever I am writing a blog post or a Disability Horizons article I contemplate which topic it will end up covering. The truth is each of them will span multiple aspects of life. In this piece I want to explain the work I have been doing on webinars. More specifically I want to explain what they are, how they are becoming a useful tool for disabled people, and how they enable me to live a healthier lifestyle.

    Following my last blog post explaining the very new and never used before concept of ‘a day in the life of’ (ok so maybe it has been used once or twice), I tried to open up on how many inputs I require, to have the many outputs I enjoy. I also promised the next blog would outline disability as a social problem, discuss some potential solutions for this and the roles we can all play. So, here it is.
