Guys as you may know there is a little political event coming soon called the general election. Have you heard of it at all? Well, while you are deciding who to vote for there is another campaign you need to be aware of. It is called Polls Apart, it is run by Scope and looks at accessibility issues for disabled people voting. This area is so important as how can disabled people use their democratic right to vote for a party that can ensure better conditions for disabled people, when they cannot even place a vote in the first place?

Well well well, other than the quick “I’m stranded” update I have been quite quiet for 2 weeks. The reason as you’ll know was my extended trip to Mexico. The video speaks a thousand words so I will attempt to explain the bits the video didn’t.

So I just tweeted about how everything is so planned in the next weeks. The tweet was tongue in cheek stating how I have fun weekends and Mexico coming. Seriously though it is crazy. I have my good friend Tinks stag do this weekend in Brighton, I'm running a workshop the weekend after at the Scope campaigns conference, then it's a mate's party and mother's day back home. Into 20th March Kerstin from Berlin is coming to visit, weekend after guys from back home visiting, then it's Easter and then 10th April Cancun – ain't no party like a east coast party!

I've been racking my tired brain for news related or wiser thoughts generally on disability.

I think it's such a prevalent thing in everyday senses I don't even consciously see things that should be improved. I guess if I always saw the negatives it could send one crazy.

So I’m on my lunch break and realised haven’t blogged for a few days so want to rattle out a few thoughts. Having got back to London safely Sunday despite the high-pitched noise my car is making I saw the Germans for 2 hours before they left. Was such a shame I didn’t see them for longer but there will be other times... Then this was softened by the awesomeness of Leeds beating Man U. So good to see. Then Spurs got Leeds in the next round.
