Policy and research
Scope seeks to improve the lives of disabled people and their families by influencing public policy, legislation and the design of services and support. We work with MPs, Assembly Members, Government Ministers, opinion formers, service providers and a whole range of professionals to try ensure that policy and practices address disabled people's needs.
We're interested in lots of different policy issues but our work at the moment is focused on four key themes: equality and human rights, safety and security, equipment and technology and care and support.
Find out about our current policy projects, read our research and policy papers or share your views and experiences with us.
