Loyd Grossman says : 'It is great that Scope is bringing people together around the nation's favourite dish - curry. It is such a simple way to support the charity; just go out, enjoy a curry and make a donation. Curry week will help disabled children and their families to achieve full equality especially where they face the most barriers and discrimination.' When other fundraisers call for you to ride until you can't walk, or run until you can't breathe, Scope North West's Curry Week simply asks you to go for a curry!

Manchester Food and Drink Festival logoOn 6 - 16 October 2006, help Scope to get the North West to go curry mad and raise money for local disabled people to lead an equal life. Take part in the North West events by building the Tallest Poppadom Tower with the Guinness World Records, wine-tasting with Rocco Forte's The Lowry Hotel or helping produce a survey to show how accessible a meal out in the region is to improve access for all. Or why not hold your own Curry Week activities in order to join in the fun and fundraise for Scope North West?

How do I get involved? If you would like to attend a Scope North West event, submit a booking form

Or to hold your own activities email northwest@scope.org.uk or call 0161 688 1021 for an events pack.

Or to take part in our Big Eat Out, download a survey.

You can also make a donation.

Scope is working to ensure that all disabled people and their families have support when they need it most. But we can't do it without your help. So, grab a poppadom, scoop up some chutney and together we can enable disabled people to lead an equal life.
