Beech Tree provides short break placements from one night to whole weeks in a separate living area, which consists of four luxurious bedrooms, a communal lounge, bathroom, toilet and kitchen, all refurbished to a very high standard.

Young people who enjoy short breaks at Beech Tree may also use the communal areas and facilities of the school. A programme of activities is available, as well as trips to the cinema, bowling, trips to Blackpool and the Lake District.

The same highly trained and experienced staff provide personalised support to the young people on short breaks, which ensures personal preferences and communication skills (such as PECS and signing) are integrated into the young person's individual care plan.
