Staff

Ingfield Manor School employs around 70 staff made up of teachers, classroom assistants, care staff, swimming and riding staff, administrative and site services staff. The school’s approach to the overall education and care of pupils is one of interdisciplinary working. All staff working with pupils participate in devising and implementing Individual Education Plans.

Ingfield has a unique staffing structure reflecting the holistic approach of Conductive Education. Staff work in trans-disciplinary teams that include staff with backgrounds and qualifications in Conductive Education, teaching, therapies and child care. Each staff team works with their group of children throughout their waking day.

The school benefits from a committed team of support staff, and the oversight of a very active Governing Body. Staff turnover is relatively low, which helps maintain a high-quality service to the children. All staff, governors and volunteers are subject to statutory checks and rigorous recruitment procedures prior to appointment.
