Scope Inclusion Teams

Scope Inclusion Teams aim to bring independence to disabled children and young adults by providing support in the home and community, including support to access leisure, education and the workplace.

"Scope Inclusion turns exclusion into inclusion, by helping us all take steps back into the community. It helps keep all options open for disabled people and their families."

We aim to support young disabled people to overcome the barriers that they can sometimes face to enable them to take a positive and active role within society.

The highly trained teams provide advice and hands-on support to children and young people with complex physical impairments, learning disabilities and (in some cases) Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Some of the teams have access to additional expertise from Scope's nursing, therapy and educational professionals.

Scope Inclusion Teams are registered through the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) as domiciliary agencies and/or nursing agencies. All services can be accessed via referral from Local Authority Children or Adult Social Care Services or PCT Commissioning Teams; they can also be purchased directly by individuals or families using Direct Payments or Individual Budgets.
