Calling all children (young and old) with disabled parents
Reforms to Disability Living Allowance could leave disabled people without vital support they need to support themselves and their children as new tougher assessment criteria are given the go-ahead.
Go to http://www.dwp.gov.uk/consultations/2012/pip.shtml to find out more about what’s planned.
It’s vitally important that the government understand the implications DLA reforms on the children of disabled people and I need your help to ensure they take our concerns seriously.
The Department for Work and Pensions is now undertaking another public consultation on its proposed replacement of the DLA with the PIP. I’m looking for people to help me put together a joint submission to the consultation.
If you are interested in taking part please contact me via the campaigns network. Email campaigns@scope.org.uk
Many thanks
