Voting, Polls Apart and the General Election
There is no getting away from it the election is everywhere.
Polls Apart is a Scope campaign aimed at improving disabled people’s access to voting. We've run it at every General and Welsh Assembly election since 1992. Aged 18, you could say it's going to be a first-time voter!
The campaign was established in response to the concerns of disabled people - about inaccessible polling stations, negative staff attitudes and widespread lack of awareness about the access needs of disabled people. All of which means we'd like to know about your experiences of voting: good, bad and ugly. As always our email address is press-pr@scope.org.uk and telephone number is 020 7619 7200
