My 7 year old son goes through drinking cups like theres no tomorrow. He tends to bite as he's drinking from his cup. As a result the tops are only lasting a few weeks - costing me a small fortune. I used to get the tommee tippee, travel cups and order replacement tops in bulk from the manufacturer, but they no longer have that service. I have tried 'fruit shoot' bottles, which only last a few days before being chewed up. Does anyone know of a cup with a strong, durable top that I could purchase. The anyway up cups are quite good, because you can buy replacement tops, but he won't use one.

Our son Ben uses a cup I bought from a local disability aids shop. It is transparent blue plastic and has a hard plastic spout/straw which would be quite hard to bite through. He also uses a beaker made by Thermos that has a solid plastic straw which pops up and down for travelling - we bought it in The Range.

Good luck with your search!

Thanks for info. on drinking cups. I forgot to mention that my son Nathan, can't physically drink from a straw, but can use a spout. I know of a disability aids shop within a few miles. I could enquire. I have also made a note of the D L Foundation. Thanks.

Sorry, the thermos beaker/cup that I described has a solid pop up spout not a proper straw, so no sucking is required.

I have been on Thermos website but couldn't see it. I'll have a look out for it. Also I have spoken to my sons O.T. about my problem and she's doing a home visit soon to try and sort something out.

Thanks
