hip problems

hi everyone,we have a 6year old boy with severe spastic quad cp.he just recently had major reconstuctive femur and pelvis osteomie in right hip due to dislocation.since the op we are now getting severe spasms in left leg and is finding it really uncomfortable to sit in wheelchair for long periods. has anybody experienced difficulty after surgery?or any orther hip problems linked with spastic cp?also the surgery has not been a complete sucess and not sitting correctly in socket surgeon says they will have to monitor it.
