how can i help be supportive
hi, i have started seeing a great guy, he has full custody of his little boy who is 3 and has cerebral palsy. not only that but his mum didnt wean him, didnt learn him to walk or have any routine etc. i have a little girl myself and his little boy his behavior is not good. throws things at my little girl if he doesnt get his own way, screams the place down if he doesnt get weetabix for dinner, he refuses to even try any other foods, my boyfriend has only had him for 8 months but he has no support, no break no help, he is at the end of his tether and was actually thinking about putting him into care as he feels he cant cope.
i suggested he leaves him with me for an hour or two today just so he can go get a coffee and a breather, but how do we deal with this eating and throwing. my little girl is well behaved and i dont want her to pick up his bad habits.
im new to this, im not used to other peoples kids, i dont know how im supposed to help or support.
can anyone offer any insight and help please
