Dear All,

We are currently working on a consultation from the Government about Education.

The government have said that they think everyone should stay in education until they are 18 years old. This would raise the school age limit from 16 years olds to 18 years old.

As part of our response to the government we want to include your experiences and views about the proposals.

Please tell us about your views on the following three questions:

1. Do you think the government should make everyone stay in school until they are 18 years old?
2. Do you think that it people should be allowed to get work experience as well as education between 16 years and 18 years of age?
3. Do you think that people should be made to get formal qualifications between the ages of 16 and 18 years old?

We are keen to hear about your experiences or expectations of education during these years and your views on the government’s proposals.

Please post back your responses on the forum or send us an email at politics&policy@scope.org.uk
