Dear parents
Please can you help us with a University of Leeds research project? This means completing a questionnaire twice, if you have a child with cerebral palsy aged between 5 and 16 years old. Please see http://www.researchstudy.co.uk/ for more details and to obtain the questionnaire, which can be completed online or on paper.

I am a children's physiotherapist by background. The questionnaire is a new measure of upper limb function for children with cerebral palsy aged 5 - 16 years old, designed to overcome the limitations in the measures available to us. The new measure will also be beneficial to clinical staff e.g. physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

There are 40 questions, plus some other information is requested that is essential for testing the questionnaire. It should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. The reason I am asking is that we need hundreds of questionnaires completed by parents for their child so that we can complete testing of the new measure to determine that it is scientifically robust, and accurately and responsively measuring upper limb function of children with cerebral palsy.

You can contact me through the website.

Thanks and best wishes
Nick Preston
