I posted on here a couple of weeks ago, but sadly have had no feed back, however I'm wondering if that's because people call the surgery by the above and not as a depo osteotomy. Basically I ve a 15 year old daughter who is due to have the op in September, but due to the summer holidays, all the consultants , physics etc are on holiday. I wonder if anyone has had a child who had this surgery ? And basically what should we expect......our daughter is quadriplegic cp and fortunately we ve avoided surgery up to this point. I want to know things like, what extent of pain to expect, what expectations of returning to her current state of mobility ( standing transfers) we know nothing about this, and simply want more info .
