I am a Trainee Counselling Psychologist. I have worked within the learning disability field for over eight years and currently work within a social care environment supporting children and families. I am conducting research for my thesis and am talking to parents and families who are considering care or whose child/relative is already in care.

By exploring these views and decision making experiences, I hope to promote psychological understanding of this process to improve the support offered.
