Hi there,

Have you tried contacting the Disabled Living Foundation? They find disability equipment solutions for independent living and may be able to suggested a dealer for Gem Comfort Wheelchairs. Their website is www.dlf.org.uk or you can contact the helpline during the week on 0845 130 9177.

Good Luck,

Martie,

Have you spoken with a Physiotherapist? If your brother requires a specialist wheelchair I do not understand why the wheelchair service are not doing more, maybe his physio could offer some advice. Alternatively you could contact Scope's London Community Team, their contact details are on the 'local' part of this site, simply click on London and you can either telephone or email them. If you still experience difficulties I suggest you contact the Cerebral Palsy Helpline on 0808 800 3333 or email cphelpline@scope.org.uk for further advice and support.

They have done one to go out in, they don't seem to want to know about my indoor one.
