Art and design at KS3 and hearing impairment

The challenges at this level are the same as for KS1 and KS2 but with a greater need for structured feedback and evaluation of the process behind creating an artwork. The support the pupil needs remains similar to at KS2 but additional help may be required for recording, appropriate vocabulary and peer evaluation. Make sure vocabulary is clear, introduced gradually and used in context. Use a checklist for any specific instructions so the pupil is clear about what their task involves.
