Art and design and physical impairment at P level 7

P Level 7 requires the pupil to consider different aspects of art and to link events and emotions to artistic representation.

You can:

• Boost creativity by encouraging choices. Separate the concepts of colour, form, line and tone while the pupil develops understanding. Begin choice-making with colour. Try to make the task open-ended so the pupil can feel in control.
• Work with video and photography as an art form – it is accessible and presents opportunities.
