PSHE: visual impairment at P level 5

Visual impairmentWorking with others and taking turns may need support, as the visual clues that can be used by pupils with sight will not be available.

Use the Skoog to help the visually impaired pupil join in music sessions or speech-based class activities. The Skoog can work with the pupil’s own recordings, such as words from a song. Avoid using something visual as the sole prompt for discussions.

Try building large structures such as with Quadro  that are large enough to interact with by getting inside a model, use very bright colours for visual support and can develop team work.
