Brocket Hall Golf Day

Brocket Hall, Hertfordshire hosted our golf day supported by Richard Bradbury CBE, the club captain and Patron of Scope.

Sixteen teams took part on the day playing in a stableford competition on the Melbourne Course. On the course, players took part in a host of competitions including a ‘hole in one’ competition in the hope of winning a Porsche Boxster and ‘Beat the Pro’, playing against Brocket Hall’s very own pro, James Taverner.

At dinner, guests took part in an auction conducted by Martin Roberts, best known for BBC’s ‘Homes under the Hammer’ who auctioned off an exclusive VIP behind-the-scenes tour of the ITV news studios, one week’s stay in a rustic house in France sleeping 10 guests and the top auction lot, a pair of Virgin Media's V Festival tickets with exclusive Louder Lounge passes! Martin also had the pleasure of auctioning five pairs of Robbie Williams’ concert tickets at Wembley Stadium.

The day was supported by Laurent-Perrier donating champagne prizes and Vitabiotics donating Jointace gels for those aches and pains after 18 holes.

The event raised £17,000 for Scope and we are grateful for the generous support of Richard Bradbury and Brocket Hall.
