Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5,895 metres. You have a choice of routes up this famous mountain, through dense tropical rainforest all the way up to the mighty snow-capped summit for simply breathtaking views. This is a tough but rewarding adventure – truly unforgettable.

Machame route

We are encouraging our trekkers to take up place in an 'open challenge' on the Machame Route with Action Challenge. The Machame route is the most popular on the mountain and not without good reason. Acclimatisation allowance combined with varied topography and features along the way, make it one of the most interesting ascents of Kilimanjaro. Here are some of the dates you can climb with Action Challenge.

Rongai Route

To take up the challenge of the Rongai Route we are encouraging you to take up a place with the Ultimate Travel Company. The Rongai route is the only one that approached from the north, but is as incredible as the rest. Here are some of the dates that you can climb with the Ultimate Travel Company.
