Trekking far off the beaten track, this tough challenge will take you through mountain valleys with dramatic views of snowy peaks and glacial lakes. Life in the Andes has remained untouched for centuries. You’ll meet villagers wearing traditional dress and visit a remote village school, giving a real insight into Peruvian life. The grand finale brings us to the Inca ruins at Machu Picchu, the ‘lost City of the Incas’. Nestled high in the Andes, the ruins are one of the most beautiful ancient sites in the world.
