Opportunities for Volunteering initiative
Opportunities for Volunteering (OFV) is a Department of Health initiative, which provides grants to local health and social care organisations in England. OFV has developed a successful model of partnership between government and the third sector over a 28-year history.
Scope is one of 16 national charities that distributes grants as part of the scheme and are known as National Agents. We will continue to be a National Agent until March 2012. After this date the Volunteering Fund will be fully operational. For further information about this new scheme, please view www.volunteeringfund.com
