Opportunities for Volunteering initiative

Opportunities for Volunteering (OFV) is a Department of Health initiative, which provides grants to local health and social care organisations in England. OFV has developed a successful model of partnership between government and the third sector over a 28-year history.

Scope is one of 16 national charities that distributes grants as part of the scheme and are known as National Agents. We will continue to be a National Agent until March 2012. After this date the Volunteering Fund will be fully operational. For further information about this new scheme, please view www.volunteeringfund.com

The following projects are currently funded until March 2012.

Further information about all the projects supported and the Opportunities for Volunteering scheme can be obtained by contacting Joanne Garbett on 01752 695912 or by emailing joanne.garbett@scope.org.uk
