Other ways to volunteer
You can support Scope through volunteering in our campaigns network. Join Scope’s network of people working together to achieve change in their local community and beyond. You’ll be the voice of disabled people in your community and will have to opportunity to feed directly into Scope’s campaign work.
We also offer a rolling programme of volunteer placements. These are your opportunities to directly support the development of the campaigns network and to ensure we can continue to offer a great level of support to campaigners up and down the country.
Scope has a large number of volunteers supporting our fundraising.
Volunteers offer invaluable help to our door-to-door fundraising – collecting vital funds from communities to assist with our work with disabled people.
Volunteers are also involved in supporting Scope events. Scope often has a large number of participants in different events such as marathons, half marathons and triathlons, taking part to raise funds for Scope We are always looking for volunteers to cheer on Scope participants in these events – if you would like to get even more involved our fundraising team are keen to recruit and support local co-ordinators who can organise cheering teams for events in different parts of England and Wales.
Finance and support services
Scope involves a number of volunteers in our finance department and in other support services. These volunteers provide more support to these teams, allowing us to do more to support our teams in their work with disabled people.
