Scope is holding a unique charity challenge, where two teams of fundraisers are pitted against each other to see who can increase the profits of a Scope shop in one given day in the Scope Apprentice challenge. To help increase the profits of the shop, we are using tools such as Justgiving and have some great support from generous donors such as the staff at Promotional Products - thank you.
I am part of an amazing team of four that have the fantastic shop in Wimbledon on 6 December. My team mates Claude, Laura and Alanah are creative and tenacious and we are hugely looking forward to beating the other team!
So, watch this space for all the latest news, all the latest battles and tactics from the Scope Apprentice challenge.
The candidates for Wimbledon
Claudine Sharples - a mean, lean fundraising machine, she will stop at nothing to get the job done. As PM for this task, she says "I like cash, and winning, so we should do well."
Alanah Watts - the baby of the group, Alanah won't let her young age get in the way of success: "I would crawl over Alan Gosschalk to win this task!"
Laura Hutchinson - with a northern twang that would charm a fish from the water, Laura sees only weakness in the other team: "I can see it in their eyes that they are scared of me. I want to keep it that way."
Thomas Dixon - the only male in the contest, he says this gives the Wimbledon team a clear advantage: "Watching the other team cat fight amongst themselves is just embarrassing. They'll self destruct, and winning for us will be a formality."
