It hardly seems possible but Scope Fostering Services is three years old, and we now have 19 dedicated carers involved in caring for and supporting disabled children in long-term, short-term, emergency and respite placements.
To celebrate, all the carers and children, plus other family members, were invited to a fun day out at BeWILDerwood, an adventure woodland wonderland, near Wroxham in Norfolk.
It was a fantastic day. The children, carers and helpers were able to climb, swing, hang and slide on some fantastic wooden climbing frames and equipment in a forest setting. The trip kicked off with a boat ride, and the kids were treated to a enchanting tale of witches and forest beings. At lunch time, everyone gathered in a “Yhut” where there was a special birthday cake to celebrate the service's third birthday.
At the end of the day, there were some very tired faces, but a great day was had by all.
