Actor Simon Callow reading for Scope event

Scope supporters Simon Callow and Cherie Booth

8 June 2013

Scope Patron Cherie Booth CBE QC hosted an event for our key supporters at Lincoln’s Inn, London.

She was joined by actor Simon Callow CBE who delivered a reading from the opening scene of Charles Dickens' novel, Bleak House, which is set in the Old Hall of Lincoln’s Inn where our event took place.

Guests enjoyed pre-dinner drinks outside in the sun followed by a tour of the Inn before sitting down to a three-course meal.

The aim of the event was to raise awareness of Scope's work supporting disabled people and families.
