Share your story and be part of our vision!

30 January 2012

Scope’s new identity has been built to reflect our role as a social change organisation with a huge vision – a vision, which we know will take decades to achieve and will require your - and many others' - help.

We’re asking disabled people, their friends and families to tell us, by way of a simple picture and words, what they would like the future to look like. What would you want to be possible?

These pictures and stories will become our living brand – a platform for all those who aspire to our vision - and a way for disabled people and their families to voice their views, opinions and hopes for the future.

At this stage, in its infancy, it reflects the aspirations of hundreds. In the months and years ahead, we hope it will reflect the aspirations of thousands upon thousands of disabled people, their families and their supporters across Britain.

In 2012, against a backdrop of diminishing support, increasing challenges and worsening attitudes towards disabled people, we will be reviewing our long-term strategy to drive change in society so that disabled people can have the same opportunities in life as everybody else.

Our strategy will be underpinned by the stories, aspirations, pictures and experiences that you share with us. And it is through your stories that we will seek to inspire others to join with us on our journey towards a better society.
