Reflecting on the Royals: a Scope event
22 May 2013
TV personality and former BBC royal reporter Jennie Bond, the Queen's former press secretary Dickie Arbiter, royal biographer Penny Junor and Sky News royal correspondent Paul Harrison took the time out of their busy schedules to take part in a discussion at our Royal Reflections event at the Household Cavalry Museum, London on Wednesday 22 May.
Guests including actress Lynda Bellingham, actor Nickolas Grace and key supporters listened as the panel told their stories of working with the Royal Family and answered questions from guests, about key events over the years and the future of the royals.
The aim of the evening was to introduce new supporters to our vital work with disabled people and families. Guests also listened as a mother of a disabled child talked passionately about some of the challenges they've faced as a family and the positive difference Scope has made to their lives.
Paul Harrison commented on his Twitter feed: "Out tonight with Scope - inspirational story from mother of disabled daughter - please support great work by dedicated team."
