Information day for parents of disabled children, Bristol

Date:
26 September 2013

Maximising the potential for your child's future

Time: 9.30am - 1.00pm followed by lunch
Venue: Foot Anstey, 100 Victoria Street, Bristol, BS1 6HZ

Scope, in partnership with Foot Anstey, will be presenting a workshop for parents and carers of children with additional needs.

Speakers will address litigation issues, mental capacity and planning your child's financial future. There will also be opportunities throughout the day to discuss private legal issues.

A mother, Michelle Dodd, who has been through the birth injury litigation process will be on hand to share her experience.

"I would never have pursued Reece's claim had I not just picked up a leaflet in the hospital in Bath. I had a niggling feeling I wasn't to blame for the birth, but something in that leaflet made me call that firm. It was the fact I could have a chat to the solicitor for free, under no obligation and would be advised truthfully if they thought I had a claim that made me take that first step. Thankfully I bit the bullet!" Michelle Dodd

Attendance is free but places are limited. Please RSVP by Friday 20 September 2013.
