Plymouth Community Resource Centre

New: volunteer opportunities

Do you receive money from the Independent Living Fund (ILF) or through Direct Payments?

Would you like a one-to-one service to more easily access your local community?

We support disabled people through personal development and life skills training, which builds confidence and raises awareness of each person's abilities. We access facilities in the community wherever possible. Our team consists of trained support workers, team co-ordinators and a service manager. The service operates during weekdays, during evenings and weekends, by arrangement.

A range of opportunities for disabled people

We can support you to:

  • Develop communication skills
  • Access public transport
  • Develop skills for independent living (including budgeting, shopping, planning, cooking and other domestic skills)
  • Access further education opportunities
  • Take part in leisure activities

Staff use their own vehicles as well as Scope's adapted vehicles and we ask that the costs like petrol and entrance fees (if applicable) are met by the customer.
