Olympian Iwan Thomas MBE gives motivational talk to Simmons & Simmons runners

Iwan Thomas MBE meets the runners of Simmons & Simmons to encourage them and pass on training tips.

Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas MBE has supported Scope’s corporate partnership with Simmons & Simmons, a large international law firm, by giving a motivational talk in the firm’s head office in London. Despite being most well-known for his success as a sprinter Iwan spoke of his many experiences as a charity marathon runner, and also gave training tips to those Simmons & Simmons staff running the Royal Parks Half Marathon later this year and the 2011 Virgin London Marathon.

A number of people in the audience signed up for one of the marathons and there was also a lot of interest in Scope’s other challenge events, especially around cycling and swimming.
