Learning and skills

Education and learning

We offer a wide range of educational opportunities for all disabled children and young people.

Inclusion

Our inclusion teams work with disabled children wherever they are, and our special schools support children with complex support needs to achieve their full potential both at school and in the wider community.

Further education for disabled students

We provide specialist post-19 education at our Beaumont College near Lancaster.

Transition for young disabled people

Our transition services support young disabled people aged 18–25, who have combined physical, learning and sensory impairments, to develop skills for independence.

Educational resources

We also produce a range of training materials to encourage inclusion in education and to answer questions frequently asked by children, parents and teachers.
