Ingfield Manor Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional grant funding provided to support children who are or have been eligible for free school meals. It also includes looked after children.

Due to the small numbers of children receiving this at Ingfield we are not publishing numbers to ensure anonymity. We receive additional funding totalling £600 this year to support these children.

In our school the money is used in three main ways:

1. To contribute to the cost of additional teaching and non-teaching staff who provide individual or small group support for children.
2. To subsidise attendance on school trips and at after school clubs for which there is a charge.
3. To trial specific equipment that may be beneficial to the child.

The school evaluates the impact on each pupil throughout the year and at the end of each term. Evaluation focus is on how pupils’ self-confidence and emotional well-being has developed as a consequence of the intervention provided and the impact of this on academic progress.

As a result of this support the progress of this group of children was better than expected to date.
