"Pupils… make good progress in their academic and personal skills because highly skilled staff give them outstanding care and teach a good curriculum, which is clearly personalised to their complex needs. This happens because the staff, led by a very strong senior team, continually strive for excellence." Ofsted
The unique staffing structure at Ingfield reflects the child-centred approach we have to education. Staff with a range of specialisms work in trans-disciplinary teams to meet the needs of each individual child. Each staff team works with their class throughout the day and is led by a team leader. We have professionals with a range of expertise such as teacher for visually impaired and hearing impaired children.
We have an active Governing Body made up of Community Governors, Local Authority representative, Staff and Parents and a representative of Scope Executive Board who are happy to answer any questions. Please contact Clerk to Governors if you would like to talk to any Governor.
All staff, governors and volunteers are subject to statutory checks and rigorous recruitment procedures prior to appointment.
Community Service Volunteers
Every year we have a group of Community Service Volunteers from around the world who come to volunteer at school. This is a great opportunity not just for them but for our students and staff to be part of the global community.
We're social, follow us!
