Blackpole is a community-based, domiciliary care scheme, supporting disabled people with complex care needs, living in their own homes in the community. There are currently three people using this service all living in ground floor, housing association, adapted properties.
Chantry Close in Tenbury Wells is a purpose-adapted house, with one-bedroom ground floor, which is suitable for a wheelchair user, and three on the first floor for more ambulant users. The property has a stair lift and is registered for up to four adults.
Exbury Place is the largest of the community-based properties in Worcester and is a purpose-built bungalow registered for up to four adults. There are three bungalows in Thistle Close, Worcester: one for three adults, one for two adults, and the third for one adult, which are all close together. This is a registered care setting for up to six adults.
