Ballymoney, Coleraine and Moyle Face 2 Face Scheme
Face 2 Face offers a one-to-one befriending service for parents discovering their child is disabled.
To recruit and train volunteer parent (of children who have a learning difficulty) befrienders in order to emotionally support, empower and encourage parents whose child has just been diagnosed with a learning difficulty, or who is going through a particularly stressful time in relation to their child's impairment. The project is funded by NHSSB and is co-ordinated by Positive Futures. It covers the Ballymoney, Coleraine and Moyle districts of Northern Ireland.
